Harvey the Clydesdale invites you to come and join him for a fantastic day learning to work with a Heavy Horse!

Your day starts at 9.45 am with a briefing session, followed by an introduction to Harvey & the other horses on site. You will experience grooming & harnessing up Harvey ready for a days' work, followed by handling tuition.
You will then get the chance to long rein Harvey around the fields in preparation for a variety of other working activities, followed by lunch and participation in further tasks including harrowing the fields. (These will be weather and ground condition dependent ) You will have the chance to assist with the end of day horse care for Harvey before departing at around 4.15 pm.

Cost is £95 per head ( full price - including lunch of sandwiches or soup and roll, crisps, cake, fruit and tea or coffee ).

£5 discount for Friends of the Museum. Minimum age 18 years old.

Ideal as a birthday present for the person who has everything and loves horses!
